THUTO — a Setswana concept meaning to teach and to learn — describes a reciprocal exchange in which knowledge, creativity, and community develop together.
Photography Project:
THE CHILDREN OF BOTSWANA #TCOBW
Between 2007–2014, children from Gaborone, Francistown, and the village of Mathangwane, Botswana participated in a collaborative photography project facilitated by photographer Annelize Bester in collaboration with the Anglican Diocese of Botswana.
Often referenced under #THUTO and #TCOBW, the project formed part of the broader ThinkTankThuto (#TTT)initiative and early plans for an educational campus designed by CGI architect Michel Cavro.
